Jeremy Armer

Hi, I'm Jeremy Armer. Welcome to my profile!

A true self-starter, I got sucked into the technology world in the early 1990's because I needed to learn HTML to promote my band. Within a few months I was producing high quality websites for local and international businesses and got bit hard by the entrepreneurial bug. I helped grow a small web hosting company to a global co-location provider, later acquired by Verio. I was the only web developer for publicly traded Big Entertainment (BIGE, now HOLL) lead them through the browser wars and was integral in their transition from a brick and mortar retail chain to a click and mortar online powerhouse competing head to head with eToys, Amazon and eBay. In 2000 I attained my NASD Series 7 License and worked first as a retail broker, then Assistant Operations Mgr, then Series 55 Licensed Equities Trader at J.P. Turner & Company (JPTC on the box) in Atlanta, GA where I learned what really made the markets move. In 2007 I acquired my Series 65 and FL State Life, Health and Variable Annuities License to become a Financial Advisor at Ameriprise Financial. In 2009 I cold-emailed serial entrepreneur and domainer Rick Latona who sent me to Manila, Philippines to oversee his development operations and also worked briefly for domain broker Toby Clements. Today I monetize a portfolio of ~750 domain names and have several startups in various phases. I'm currently participating in Venture Camp 1.0 as one of only 12 participants selected from more than 500 applicants and am eating, sleeping and dreaming execution with the help of many extremely talented and successful people for 2 months here at the Kessler Mansion in Indianapolis.
